“Many of my students have expressed an interest in humanitarian aid, global health, international development, and human rights. This website is a response to those conversations and an opportunity to share my work in these fields, along with information about my lectures, research, and international humanitarian activities.

Humanitarian professionals do far more than respond to crises in the field. They also contribute to the development of policies that shape humanitarian action, protect vulnerable populations, and strengthen international responses to complex emergencies.
